Sara Lee Corp., Downers Grove, Ill., is offering new varieties of Hillshire Farm-branded lunchmeats.

Added selections in the Deli Ultra Thin line include Hickory Smoked Chicken Breast and Cracked Black Pepper Turkey Breast.

New items in the Deli Select Premium Hearty Slices line are Hardwood Smoked Turkey Breast and Oven Roasted Chicken Breast.


Gold'N Plump Poultry Rolls Out Two Varieties Of Whole Chicken
Gold’n Plump Poultry, St. Cloud, Minn., is rolling out two whole chicken alternatives, Marinated Butterfly and All Natural‘ Whole Rotisserie, in response to growing consumer interest in convenience and health.

Marinated Butterfly Chicken, which is cut along the keel bone and spread flat, can hold such stuffed ingredients as potatoes, rice, beans, plantains and bread, the company notes.
